About the Course
Designated Marksman/Precision Marksman are often faced with unique, rapidly changing dynamic challenges and limitations, in urban operations. The limitations of an urban environment confines the Precision Marksman enagements to within 65yds. to 200 yds. It is at these distances that Precision Marksman must be able, with certainty, identify threats and swiflty apply precise single shots on single and multiple threats in rapid succession. The Urban Precision Marksman course fills the gap between Urban Tactical Carbine (Standard Patrol Rifle) and SWAT Sniper.
Operators will be trained to excel in the requisite skills, typical of trained Precision Marksman in possession of a semi-automatic fire equipped with a telescopic sight.
Students will advance through a series of dynamic range instruction, progressively challenging drills, confidence building courses and individual evaluation.
